How the CIG works
All inspections under this agreement shall be conducted according to the Permanent and Operational Documents of the ETICS CIG Inspection Scheme (for short “CIG Inspection Scheme”).
The inspections are carried out with qualified registered CIG-Inspectors strictly with the necessary supporting information and documentation.
A rational process: Where a Party receives several requests for the same location, it will undertake actions to organize visits by maximizing economy of resources. For example, Party B can represent other certification bodies during the inspection to avoid additional inspection visits of the same manufacturer.
A fast process: After each inspection, Party B will provide Party A with an Inspection Report clearly identifying conformance and non-conformance with the specified requirements. The report will be provided in English. The latest applying version of the CIG Inspection Report shall be used.
